Logistics Analyst Support and implement all Valeo Supply Chain standards, guidelines, working methods, methodologies and tools in the plant and with suppliers for all new projects. Lead and implement supply chain activities to support new product introduction or engineering changes. Identify and pursue opportunities for improvement. Manage the P1/P0 (Phase 1/Phase 0) new products supply chain. Apply the supply chain strategy to new products and suppliers. Ensure all supply chain activities support New Project Introduction or Engineering Change. -ªManage launch for supply chain during all Project Phase milestones: -Define components deliveries and finished goods schedules for pre-serial production and vendor setup for production. -Provide initial customer service support for trial builds: -Develop customer service contacts and delivery schedules (MRD). -Answer customer delivery promise screens and communicate with the customer as required. -Coordinate shipments of P1/P0 deliveries to meet customer build timing. -Responsible for project logistics issues until phase 4 (6 months after SOP). -Implement all supply chain activities for product launch by project teams in term of : -Transportation: Internal and external implementation. -Packaging: Small containers and packaging standardization. -PFEP (Plan For Every Part): Storage layout material flow. -ERP System: Logistics shipping and MRP readiness, and EDI set up coordination. -Customer support. -ªDefine project logistics process standards. -ªSupport the project and purchasing teams by assisting in procurement of materials and vendor development to support trial builds and initial production. -ªSupport the project and purchasing teams by proposing the best solutions to maximize the customer service levels, minimizing the logistic costs and inventories and accelerating the physical flows from suppliers to customers. -ªParticipate to the FDP (Full Day Production) runs for supply chain activities; follow and implement all corrective actions identified afterwards. -ªContainer Management -Work with packaging engineers to develop and approve packaging. -Work with sales and the customerrsquo;s container group to provide an acceptable container fleet size and system days to adequately support production. -Communicate agreed system days to production and planning so inventory targets can be appropriately set. -ªValidate or update the Logistics FMEA for new projects. -ªWork with Valeo Production System and warehouse teams to define component and finished goods flows and their storage location. -ªSupport the Planning and Scheduling teams during the Start of Production (SOP) for all new products. -ªCommunicate Supplier Logistics Guidelines and Protocols. -Develop and communicate supplier expectations. -Develop and communicate preferred delivery quantities and frequencies to support production and inventory goals. -ªTransportation: optimize pick-up frequency and freight costs. -ªPackaging and labeling specifications and standardization for components and finished goods. -ªOther assignments as required relating to the planning and customer service functions. -ªAssist with other container management projects.
