Logistics Co-ordinator Job in Cambridgeshire , Anglia UK
My client are a blue chip manufacturer of industrial electronic products used in many industries around the world. From their main manufacturing site in Cambridgeshire, this £250million turnover business occupy a position of strength within their sector.
As Logistics Co-ordinator, your role will be to lead a working group ensuring that the daily and weekly shipping plan is achieved through the most effective use of resources employed. Reporting into the Area Team Leader, you will strive to assist the team in achieving medium and long-term area improvement objectives. With experience gained from a previous or similar role, you will work to ensure that the performance targets are achieved:- Quality, OnTime Delivery and Costs.
Ideally you will have at least 5 years experience in a despatch, shipping or production environment and possess excellent leadership skills - something which you will be encouraged to demonstrate. Strong organisational and prioritisation skills are essential, as well as a knowledge of lean principles and good PC skills.
