Logistics Coordinator
POSITION OBJECTIVE
Support the execution of Kohl's logistics programs and supply chain scorecards. This position will be responsible for monitoring processes and programs associated with all areas of Kohl's Logistics, Transportation, Vendor Services, and Distribution.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor and track supply chain
- Execute day to day parcel operations for the E-commerce network and parcel carriers. Establish parcel carrier relationships with UPS, FedEx, and USPS.
- Identify and implement opportunities to: improve operating efficiencies, reduced costs, and improve customer experience
- Work with logistics finance group to provide weekly shipment and cost forecasts.
- Prepare and manage daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of Key Performance Metrics
- Identify data integration and database solutions to reporting improvements
Manage regularly scheduled reporting
- Develop, administer, and distribute performance reports and scorecards to support business operations and requirements.
- Work collaboratively with internal business groups to acquire key metrics, validate data, and warehouse data for multiple users.
- Develop and utilize new and existing exception reports to communicate and resolve supply chain issues.
- Communicate appropriate issues to senior leadership as required by the business.
Develop, implement, and oversee supply chain improvements
- Analyze and implement process improvements across the supply chain.
- Develop reporting tools to ensure efficiencies are realized.
- Provide support to strategic initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
required
- Ability to handle multiple projects and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical skills, interpersonal skills and communication skills
- PC proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ability to learn other computer applications
preferred
- Experience in Logistics, Planning Allocation, or Distribution Management in a retail environment
- Supply chain knowledge and global business process orientation
- Strong negotiation and organizational skills; detail oriented; flexible problem solving skills
