Logistics Customer Service/ Admin
This amazing company, based in north-east Leicestershire, is searching for an individual who can combine accurate admin, customer service and an ability to juggle multiple tasks at once. ‘Amazing’ is a suitable adjective for this company due to the incredible characters they have; forward thinking, honest, strong, intelligent, humorous and hard working. This is a permanent job with a start date of January 2014 but the client is looking to interview people between Christmas and the New Year!
In essence, a customer will want a unit delivered to a UK destination and will come to you to know when you intend to have it delivered, the time, the types of units and any necessary security. You will then plan the movements of the unit and share this info with other internal and external departments. The purpose of this job is to work in a team of 9, handling one of the major accounts with the fluid movement of the units. The challenge of this role is not only the logistic precision with the movement of the units, but the ability to handle the different demands from various clients at once; being able to prioritise, think on your feet and complete all tasks required. As a result a calm head, as sense of humour, strong communication skills and high levels of customer service are imperative.
A CV that can demonstrate a proven ability to multi task, organise and work in a fast paced environment will have an advantage. Customer service and accurate admin are also useful skills to have. Above all, the office culture in this department is confident, friendly, hard working and very active! The department manager is there with an unflinching, ‘nothing is impossible to overcome’ attitude and the support network is there when customer demands can seem unrealistic. Salary up to £15.5k.
