Job Description

Reporting directly into the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the management of sales orders from inception through to fulfillment including forecasting and planning for the Amcor Beverage Cans site. Working closely with suppliers and customers, you will determine and process purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to guarantee on time delivery of raw materials. In this stand alone role, you will also be responsible for finite scheduling and inventory management of raw materials, aged inventory and SLOB. To continue Amcor’s high benchmark of customer service, you will build close relationships with customers in order to manage contracts and ensure on time delivery of orders. Utilising your previous logistics skills, you will be responsible for the efficient flow of inventory through the warehouse managing all inbound and outbound movements of raw materials and finished goods.

The Successful Applicant

Ideally from a Manufacturing/FMCG background, the successful applicant will have previous experience in production planning, logistics and warehousing. With end to end experience within supply chain, you will have the ability to communicate clearly and influence key stakeholders, both internal and external. Experience creating a culture of continuous improvement would also be an advantage. The successful applicant will have a working knowledge of OHS and a thorough understanding of MRP and WMS.
