Logistics Ops - Associate
Description The Logistics Operations Associate under close supervision, performs basic inventory control processes utilizing the Oracle system, performing any and all physical tasks relating to receiving and distributing materials within the warehouse, assisting in cycle counting and physical inventory and for performing other various administrative duties of a basic complexity relating to any and all warehouse activities. You will perform all physical tasks associated with the movement and receiving of materials, consumer devices and restocking of material. The Logistics Operations Associate performs fulfillment of material demand requests; pulling stock from racks and shelving; preparing and securing material on pallets and distribution of order to internal customers; basic clerical tasks; ensuring all work related equipment and vehicles are utilized and maintained in a safe and responsible manner and are in compliance with OSHA safety rules and regulations; monitors inventory levels and communicates need to order materials to supervisor. Qualifications Prior inventory experience is required. High School diploma or equivalent is required. Performing basic mathematical calculations, operating a forklift and hand-truck is required. Ability to lift and carry 60 lbs., and use hand tools. Operate with moderate proficiency a computer with multiple software applications including Oracle, bar-coding and Cabledata billing systems is essential. Must have a valid state NYS driver s license in satisfactory standing applicable to state law. Ability to work flexible work hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime as required.
