This vital role carries responsibility for ensuring that everything the Army needs – from food to ammunition – is in the right place at the right time. Not only will you issue, receive, store and maintain provisions; you’ll also control the supply of spare parts and ammunition for all our armoured vehicles. You’ll become an expert in warehouse management and supply chain systems.
Aged between 16 and 32 and physically fit, you’ll be equally happy working outside or indoors. It will also help if you enjoy driving and have an interest or background in IT, storage and distribution or administration. Our training will do the rest.
Once you’ve learned basic soldiering skills, you’ll move on to specialised courses in combat logistics and warehouse management. We’ll also teach you to drive forklifts and mechanical handlers on any terrain. On top of that, there will be the chance to gain NVQs and even a Foundation Modern Apprenticeship.
