A Multi national organisation provides a global logistics solutions through one point of contact. With strategically placed offices around the world they have the facilities to offer bespoke solutions to meet any client’s needs. Due to recent expansion they are looking for a Logistics Support officer to join their Perth based team.
Reporting to the general manager you will be responsible for managing the relationships between the customers and the operations teams. You will build a solid understanding of the customer’s requirements as well as understand what is needed to exceed their expectations. Overseeing predominantly the general freight movements you will have a solid understanding of international movements as well as customs and quarantine regulations.
As a pivotal member of the operation you will have great customer service skills including excellent verbal and written skills along with a phenomenal attention to detail. As the main point of contact between the customers and the operations team you will effectively manage any customer queries in a timely fashion. You will have experience of working in the freight forwarding industry with experience of liaising with key clients on a regular basis.
