London based Associate/VP Credit Investor
Arkesden Partners are currently working with the London office of an International Alternative Investor to locate an Associate/VP for the London team in order to help Invest in the ever growing Credit and HY markets. We have been mandated to search for an Associate/VP from Investment Banking or Investing backgrounds across Europe.
The European fund itself is well backed globally with a strong LP community behind it. This is based on strong returns from European, US and Asian offices. They are active across a wide spectrum of products through private debt, mezzanine, credit and minority equity funds with a speciality in mid-market transactions.
The role is to invest across bonds, high yield, leveraged loans and also portfolio management. Therefore the experience of Debt/Credit financial modeling within Investment Banking is essential.
The ideal candidate will not only possess a strong technical background and financial understanding of the market but also possess strong interpersonal skills to enable them to build long lasting relationships with both Investors and Portfolio companies. The Associate will be required to look after and nurture the junior members of the team.
Consistently a top performer with top grades at school and University.
5-7 years of Leveraged Finance experience from a Tier 1 establishment. They will look at profiles from Leveraged Finance or Investing backgrounds. A European language skill is essential (French preferable).
