London Based – Global Leading Energy Trading Software firm – Seek Lead Commodity Account Manager – £70k-£90k recruitment

Based in their Central London HQ, the successful candidate will need to have a proven account management background, combining a solid technical understanding of the trading market and have experience in building and maintaining high profile relationships. Therefore the successful candidate will need to demonstrate some of the following skills/experiences:

• Markets and trading knowledge within a commercial service provider model – not just how the mechanics of how they work now but how they should or could work in the future.
• Ability to influence people with both vision and ability to outline practicalities of how to deliver upon this.
• Ability to manage a wide portfolio of clients and drive their strategic and business decision making as a trusted and credible advisor. 
• Excellent business acumen with strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate and influence high-level decision makers to deliver immediate results.  Results will primarily be judged on revenue.
• Strong ability to develop and nurture strong working relationships with ‘C’ level / senior managers / decision makers
• Practical experience developing and closing long-cycle strategic sales
• Proven experience of account management and growing a revenue base in a consultative sales or account manager position, in the financial services.
• Financial industry experience and market knowledge, ideally within the Energy sector.
