LONDON BASED – Senior Associate/VP Metal Sales Marketer for Top Commodities Investment Bank recruitment
The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Director/APAC Head who is located in Singapore. The candidate will be driving forward derivatives sales/marketing business for Chinese off-shore APAC Corporate Commodity clients. Existing experience Metals (Precious and base) sales/marketing is essential.
As a Mandarin speaking Commodity Derivatives Sales/Marketer, you will be working with world-renowned structuring and trading team in London and Singapore, and assist with Sales pitching for new Chinese clients with the help of global commodities research and hard quants.
Must be able to identify, engage, and leverage other divisions and coordinate closely with other support functions such as legal, compliance, risk management etc.
A throrugh understanding of Asian Metals Commodities market drivers, corporate commodity demand and supply, fixed income and equity portfolio knowledge beneficial
Requirements
• 2-3 years financial services Metal Commodities derivatives Sales experience required from a trading house/bank background
• Mandarin and English speaking a must
• Must be able to work independently and take ownership of own business
• Deep knowledge of the APAC region is essential
• Proven track record of sales portfolio/existing customer base
• Knowledgeable with the credit process
