London based – Trade Finance Sales- Immediate Hire recruitment
Candidates will be expected to:
- Take a Vice President or Assistant VP level role within the Trade Sales team in London covering European and Asian markets from London
- Prepare and present business proposals to the credit loan approval team
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients for trade products
- Ability to advise clients using in depth knowledge of trade finance products
- In corroboration with RMS and the product team, you will have a key role in achieving trade revenue targets and increasing the revenue of the group
- Develop and implement a focused trade finance marketing strategy for the bank’s large corporate base
- Develop and maintain distribution channels with market peers for the development for forfeiting and sale and purchase of other trade finance assets in the secondary market
- Cross sell other department products and explore opportunities to participate in new lending facilities, foreign exchange, deposit and RMB business while focusing on trade finance related business
Essential to have experience:
- Trade finance origination/ Trade sales experience essential
- Candidate will ideally be based in London or have experience working the European Trade Sales business
- Skills in credit/ documentation/ trade finance/ trade sales important
- Perfect candidate will be VP or AVP level working in a Trade Sales role at a bank in London
- Mandarin a real plus but not essential
