London Trade Floor Voice Engineer recruitment
Work with Citi businesses to develop voice solutions (PBX, ACD, etc.) to meet their current and future operational needs. Perform escalated and business requested analyses to design and thoroughly document cost effective solutions. Partner with vendors, businesses, and technical teams to successfully execute against projects Encourage the adoption of new voice technologies to enhance Citi's competitive edge. Provide a leadership role within the team.
Skills
Technical Skills:
- CertificationTraining: Avaya Certified Expert (ACE) or equivalent experience required. CCNP-Voice preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of Avaya PBX components including ACM, ASM, MM, MN, PBX, One-X IP handsets and softphone clients, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of Cisco PBX components including Publisher, Subscribers, Unity, IP handsets and softphone clients, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of SBCs (session border controllers), preferred Acme Packet/legacy Covergence
- In-depth knowledge of VoIP standards (SIP - SIPINFO, RFC2833, etc. and H.323 - Q.931, H.245, etc.)
- IPC trading floor system knowledge a plus
- Windows administration and UNIX shell knowledge a plus
- Knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, QoS, ACLs a plus
- Exceptional candidates who do not meet these criteria may be considered for the role provided they have the necessary skills and experience.

- Voice changes and coordination with vendors or change groups can involve late night timings and possible weekends. Business as usual work hours, which do not involve supporting network production changes are 9 am - 5 pm
