There is a current opening for the right person to contribute to the delivery and development of long term mine plans and planning systems for this globally significant mining operation from its beginnings. The role will also be an influential member of the technical services team and will assist in the development of a values based culture within the team.

What skills and experience do you need?

Key attributes that will contribute to your success include accuracy, attention to detail and strong analytical skills with the ability to build positive working relationships at all levels.  You'll have good organisational skills and a sound understanding of operational processes and responsibilities across mining operations and be able to promote a safety first, cost conscious philosophy.

As the ideal candidate, you will possess extensive experience as a Long Term Mine Planning Engineer with relevant tertiary qualifications. Strong emphasis will be placed on your experience in the development of long term mine plans and associated budgets.
