Our Richmond based warehouse facility is looking for quick and efficient order pickers. Most of the commodities are light in weight. Accuracy and attention to detail are key in this computer aided picking process. These are long term temporary assignments in a highly desirable and diverse work place. Benefits are available after 600 hours. Most of our employees have been working for over one year and will continue for many more. Monetary incentives are paid to those pickers who exceed minimum picking performance and many make up to $3.00 more an hour. Shift times start times are 11am, 1pm, and 3pm, if you are hired you will be assigned a steady shift that will not change. Days worked are Sunday through Thursday or Monday through Friday, Statutory holidays are observed.. CSA approved steel toe foot wear is mandatory
Responsibilities:
-Picking/Packing Orders
-Loading/unloading trailers
-Material Handling
-General Labor/Stocking
-Operating Radio Frequency Scanners (RF SCAN/GUN)
Requirements:
-Previous Warehouse/RF Scanner usage experience
-A flexible and adaptable can-do attitude
-Steel toed boots and able to lift up to 50lbs
-The ability to follow directions
-Bondable and have access to a car
-Accurate, good eye for details, flexible and used to a fast pace environment
Minimum Education Required: High School
Years of Experience Required: At Least 1 Year
