Look Back Mortgage File Coordinator

~~THIS IS A SHORT TERM POSITION~~

Primary Characteristics
Responsible for accurately reviewing foreclosure files to determine if all mortgage and foreclosure documentation is imaged within the vendor system for auditing purposes. Identify missing filed, recorded or stamped documents from the file and communicate the missing items to the respective attorney firm. Monitor files until the missing documentation is returned to resolve and complete the file.

Essential Functions
• Monitor and validate that all documentation within imaging is available and accurate for audit purposes
• Review, process and communicate among management team the validity of missing documentation
• Manage outstanding missing document by email and system processes
• Maintain acceptable turn-around times for the missing documents to avoid deadlines
• Good use of discretion and independent judgment
• Ability to interact with other employees and outside contacts
• Have a positive approach to work and to fellow team members

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements)
• Knowledge of servicing of delinquent loans
• 1-2 years experience of Foreclosure/Default Mortgage Servicing preferred
• PC experience needed
• Fidelity/MSP experience is beneficial
• Self-starter and self-motivated
• Attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Time management skills

Training and Experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1-2 years experience in Foreclosure/Default Mortgage Servicing
• Excel and Word knowledge
