Looking for Senior Test Analyst Job in Sydney, New South Wales Australia
Our client is a leading, long established and well respected Telecom company in Sydney. As a result on continued success and planned growth our client now requires a Senior Test Analyst to work within the BSS / OSS domain. Applicants must have a depth understanding on BPMS.
Minimum 2 years’ Experience in Telecom BSS / OSS mainly in Order management and provisioning / service assurance functions.
Knowledge of BPMS processes advantageous.
Knowledge of testing web services
Prepare and execute Test Strategies and Test Plans across the System, System Integration and User Acceptance Test phases for all software changes including regression, security, performance, volume, load, usability, data conversion, failover and recovery testing activities.
Contribute to establishment of test environments by providing test data.
Manage testing and verification problems or issues through to resolution or escalation.
Identify deficiencies in testing infrastructure and resources.
Contribute to the software release process by providing test results and highlighting risks.
Liaise with ‘owners’ of systems undergoing change for test design, verification criteria and relevant issues.
Contribute to application support by replicating production problems in test environments.
Manage the software release process including source control, test, compliance and documentation.
Minimum 6 years of Relevant experience
As a result, it is imperative that candidates possess the following skills and experience to apply:
Essential
Experience with Telco provisioning / billing systems
Experience in the preparation and execution of test plans and evaluating success factors ( 4 years).
Technical degree qualification (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, IS).
Knowledge
Extensive knowledge of software testing methodologies.
Familiar with systems development methodologies.
Understanding of trends and developments in quality assurance management processes and products
Willingness to learn
Ability to turn problems into solutions
Strong verbal and written skills
Sound SQL (Oracle and MS SQL Server)
Desirable
Project management methodologies
Skills (including technology)
Application hands on development experience
