Our company is seeking a Loss Mitigation Manager to join our team.
SUMMARY:
Oversee the operations of the Loss Mitigation departments. Provide timelines and guidelines to staff for processing a nationwide servicing portfolio. Insure that appropriate investor/insurer, regulatory, and state statute guidelines are in place and adhered to. Analyze workflow and develop procedures to maximize employee productivity and efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develop and implement new policies and procedures
· Interview, hire, train and counsel staff
· Prepare and deliver performance evaluations
· Ensure department operates within budget
· Select and hire vendors as needed
· Communicate the department objectives and plan of action
· Increase shareholder value
· Minimize losses through effective and timely collection and loss mitigation procedures on delinquent loans and outstanding advances on current loans
· Streamline/improve department processes to change productivity
· Prepare management reporting

MINIMUM EDUCATION EXPERIENCE:
· College degree or equivalent work experience
· 7+ year’s in mortgage banking or related experience
· 5+ year’s management experience
· PC skills required (Word, Excel)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Manual dexterity required for occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and for operating office equipment (i.e., computers, fax machines, copiers, etc.)
