JOB DESCRIPTION

So in seeking to be the outright number player in the market they would like to add a talented low latency market data engineer to who can contribute to increasing and maintaining their platform performance.

Responsibilities include latency, market data platforms, feedhandler software and capacity. This position will require excellent communication skills as they interact with both their immediate team and traders alike. This is a very skilled position and one that will impact the business progressively.

Location:  Connecticut, USA

Requirements:

• 3-7 years of market data work that entails latencies, infrastructure and eradicate issues.

• Experience with market systems i.e. wombat feedhandlers, market data, tickerplant for DMA.

• Use of latency monitoring tools would be extremely advantageous i.e open source based tools.

• Improve latency performance, implement market data platforms and analyze capacity usage.

• Ideally will be very adept with linux and cisco, as well as other operating systems.

• Able to be very hands on and engage with related teams across other business areas.
