LPN/MA-Clinic Spine Neurological Surgery Job
Job Description: LPN: Provides direct and indirect patient care when rooming patients in the clinic setting. Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; meets the communication needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a registered nurse and/or provider. Maintains regulatory requirements, nursing and clinic policies, procedures and standards. Communicates with physicians and team members about patient's condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. MA:: Provides patient care under supervision of RN and/or provider when rooming patients in the clinic setting. Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; meets the communication needs of patient and family. Maintains regulatory requirements, nursing and clinic policies, procedures and standards. Communicates with physicians and team members about patient's condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Other Qualifications: Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English. Additional languages preferred. Basic computer knowledge. Decision making and problem solving. Team building. License or Certification: LPN: Active Wisconsin LPN license or eligibility to practice practical nursing in the State of Wisconsin. Current BLS certification MA: Medical Assistant Certification or equivalent training and/or experience. Certified Medical Assistant preferred. Current BLS certification. Benefit Eligible: Yes Exemption Status: Non-Exempt Hours/Pay Period: 64 Schedule Details: Clinic hours, variable days Compensation Detail: Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
