We are currently seeking a Lean Six Sigma Administrator, on a 6 month fixed term basis. We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual, who has a flexible approach and a “can do” attitude, to provide high quality administration service and who is keen to develop their skills in a busy and challenging environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- To provide administrative assistance to a department or division generally consisting of senior management, or coordinating complex or multiple programs.
- To assist with serving as a liaison to departments ensuring compliance with operational policies and procedures, and tracking financial and operational information.
Detail Support Essential Job Functions:
- Provides administrative support, such as maintaining department and management schedules, coordinating meetings, agendas, and office activities making travel arrangements, editing and preparing newsletters, brochures and basic reports, researching information, and providing related support.
- Assists with serving as a liaison to other departments regarding programs or operations, prepares special reports, researches information, and maintains databases for several divisions or the department.
- Assists in overseeing department programs by reviewing forms and documents for compliance with operational policies and procedures.
- Assists with developing and tracking budget and department information, such as recommending budget figures, maintaining balances, tracking operational progress, researching discrepancies, and preparing related financial reports.
- Coordinates complex or multiple programs involving internal and/or external staff; projects may require some discretion and independent judgment.
- Performs basic office duties, such as copying, filing, faxing, typing standard documents, preparing, sorting, and distributing mail, entering data, and running basic or standard reports.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Maintaining department and management schedules.
Candidate qualities:
- Minimum two years administrative support/secretarial experience, including supporting management personnel.
- Educated to A Level/GCSE, or equivalent education and experience.
- Must be fully conversant with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Must be able to prioritise and multi task in an ever changing environment.
- Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Must be able to work as part of a team, but also have the ability to work independently without supervision.
- Must be confident and be totally customer focused.
- Previous experience with a multi-site, multi-national company would be an advantage.
