IBM Global Business Services is hiring new long term supplemental management consultants for its Public Sector Financial Management consulting group. We are looking for qualified candidates to join our growing Financial Management practice and our United States Marine Corps Audit Readiness Team. Consultants will perform a range of functions for USMC, DoD other public sector clients, including federal accounting, financial analysis, auditing, financial statement compilation, general ledger accounting, business process analysis reengineering, internal control reviews, cost management, budgeting, statistical data analysis, and general process improvement. We are looking for applicants with strong academic records and skills in accounting, auditing, financial improvement planning and problem solving. In addition, candidates should have excellent verbal and communication skills, good writing abilities, and must be able to work effectively in a team environment. Candidates should be able to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks concurrently and be adaptableto new assignments, systems, and tools.
