Lvl II Staff RN - Blood Donor Center, Per diem

As the leader of the health care team, provides professional nursing care, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care, policies, and procedures. Essential Functions: The Registered Nurse demonstrates proficiency by exhibiting the following skills, competencies, and behaviors: - Leadership - Nursing Process - Documentation - Clinical Outcomes - Workplace Safety - Patient Care Experience - Ensures clean, orderly, and functional work environment - Team Commitment - Fiscal Responsibility Qualifications: Notes: - Rotating Weekends - Will work in the Mobile bus sites (San Diego County) Basic Qualifications: - Current CA RN license AHA BLS Certification - One (1)-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in Blood Donor Center in apheresis and hemapheresis. Must be able to perform all functions necessary for the collection of whole blood and apheresis. - Consistently demonstrates the knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors necessary to provide superior and culturally sensitive service to each other, to our members, and to customers, contracted providers, and vendors. Preferred Qualifications: - Recent experience in blood donor collection.
