LVN or RN
LVN or RN needed part-time in an administrative capacity. This is not a position to provide hands-on nursing care.
We are a non-medical home care company that provides caregivers to assist seniors in their homes. We are looking for an LVN or RN to perform a variety of administrative and supervisory functions, including:
· Visits to our clients’ homes to supervise the work being performed by our caregivers
· Periodic re-assessment visits to ensure client’s needs are being met
· Communications with family members about the care being provided
· Review of caregiver activity reports
· General administrative tasks while in the office
Additionally, the ideal candidate will work to gain new referrals for service by:
· Networking with other health care professionals in the community
· Maintaining relationships with hospital social workers and discharge planners, home health and hospice agencies, nursing homes and other care facilities
· Performing in-service presentations detailing the services provided by the company
The days and hours for this position are flexible to a degree, though the work schedule would need to include some early morning hours each week. Initially, we have a need for approximately 12-20 hours per week, though there is potential for full-time employment should the candidate demonstrate strong competency and ability to communicate our message to the community. 50% or more of working time will be spent in the field. Pay will range from $20-$25 per hour depending upon experience. Mileage will be reimbursed for travel. Existing established relationships and experience in the local nursing, social work, or case management community is helpful, though not required.
