M.I Analyst
A new opportunity has arisen at an International banking client of ours for an experienced contractor with excellent technical skills.
They are seeking an M.I Reporting Analyst to join their team and provide support to the Capital Management team. The successful candidate will be involved in the process of Capital demand forecasting both domestic and international so a knowledge of this would be extremely advantageous.
Requirements:
1. Treasury or Finance background, experience of work in Capital Management teams is an advantage
2. Good understanding of Capital and Regulatory environment, knowledge of Basel accords, CRDs, BIPRUs
3. Proven background of work with Data:
a. Extraction – knowledge of key systems (incl. SAS, SAP etc.), experience in SQL programming (intermediate level is an advantage)
b. Data manipulation – professional user of MS Excel (VBA and MS Access is an advantage)
c. Analysis – good analytical skills, able to perform sense-checks and validation of data
d. Presentation – capable to present results of analysis in a proper manner, good knowledge of MS PowerPoint
4. Knowledge of Corporate Banking products
5. Multi-functionality, ability to control several processes and switch from one type of activity to another
6. Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills - capable to communicate effectively both with junior employees and senior management
7. Capable of working independently, ability to lead the processes and deliver results within tight deadlines
8. Well-organised and detail oriented
