The Role:
Brookfield Financial is looking to add an additional Associate Vice President Vice President, working closely with the Managing Partners, to our established and skilled team of investment banking professionals in the London office. The position provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced investment banking professional to work on transactions throughout Europe as well as collaborating with the global BFIN practice on global assignments and towards the advancement of a market leader in the investment advisory services industry. The Responsibilities:
The candidate will focus on corporate advisory and MA with responsibility for executing transactions, managing client and investor relationships and assisting in business development initiatives. Additionally, the candidate will manage and guide the Analysts and Associates in financial modeling, due diligence, underwriting and preparation of offering materials.
The Candidate:
- Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in business, finance or commerce with an excellent academic background;
- 5 - 7+ years experience in investment banking, mergers and acquisitions or private fund equity advisory services;
- Registration with the Financial Conduct Authority is essential;
- Ability to independently manage clients, buyers and lenders, and to execute on transactions along with a Managing Partner;
- Ability to proactively identify and generate business development opportunities;
- Ability to manage a deal team and provide guidance to Analysts and Associates;
- Proven transaction execution skills, client service and support experience in due diligence processes
- Very strong analytical and financial background (hands on experience with DCF, ARGUS Valuation Software, etc.);
- Well-presented team player, good communication skills; English speaking plus European languages
