The Client:
Our Client is well established in the US. It seeks to help innovative technology-led companies maximise value. They have 3 strands of service Investment Banking, Strategy Consulting and Growth Equity Investment. Headed up by exceptional partners with extensive experience and networks in Technology, finance and consulting this is a fast growing platform. It is now opening its London office and requires a strong, entrepreneurial MA Associate, equally passionate about technology, to help build the business.
The Role:
This is a Unique and exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial individual to join a small fast growing team, work directly with strong senior individuals on deals in an exciting and ever changing sector. The right individual will really be able to gain a lot of responsibility and begin to carve out their own career path.
The Associate will:
• Assist partners on client engagements with technology-sector clients
• Develop financial models and perform valuation and due diligence analysis
• Conduct industry research and analysis to uncover key trends
• Help develop and prepare client presentation materials
• Draft offering documents
• Be a positive purveyor of the firm’s image and extend client relationships
• Participate in client meetings and discussions
Requirements
• Top academic credentials (2:1 or equivalent from a leading university)
• Strong MA Skillset ideally with Technology Deal Experience
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with financial statements, ideally from multiple jurisdictions (in particular UK, US, France)
• Interest in and awareness of technology-led industries
• Ability to work within a small, un-bureaucratic organization where flexibility and initiative are standards
