M&A Manager

 

 

 

 

In this role you will actively support and manage the execution of MA deals in the market, including research and analysis of the relevant deal structures.You will also support the implementation of agreements with business partners and interface with third parties advisors and other bodies until completion of deals. You will need to contribute to MA discussions related to major opportunities – typically those led by MA function from the HQ. You will also support the MA process of the current / future partners in China, including preparation of investment papers, and obtaining internal approvals of deals.

You should be developing partnership opportunities and maintain a strong network of relationships with external organisations, including those with local government bodies and create trusted and valued relationships with key stakeholders and senior management across the Group, including with JVs in Asia.

Requirements:

You should have about 5-8 years experience working on MA deals in China and the experience acquired in a corporate, banking or advisory environment. You should have prior knowledge of international, fast moving and lean service providers, ideally with experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

You should have a first rate academic background, and ideally with an MBA from a top business school or other relevant post-graduate qualification. You should be a native Mandarin speaker with excellent fluency in English.

You will have strong familiarity with MA activities in Asia and have the proven ability to analyse, challenge and provide lateral thinking to existing growth strategies. You should have an entrepreneurial mindset - seeking out new opportunities, challenging the status quo, pioneering new ideas.
