M&A Media Manager / Associate recruitment

Established in the early 90s and headquartered in London, our client has offices in markets around the world including North America and Asia-Pacific.

Due to a strong pipeline our client is seeking to recruit a full time corporate finance Associate / Manager for its London office.

Roles and responsibilities:

•           Work closely with the partners on marketing, lead generation and business developing

•           Work closely with the partners on major assignments and leading other engagements

•            Supervise project teams and input from the knowledge team

•            Conduct buyer and seller long and shortlisting

•           Be responsible for the preparation of confidential business profiles and information memoranda

•           Project manage multi-party MA transactions

•           Lead the evaluation of offers received

•            Support clients grooming their businesses for sale with support where required from the consulting team

•            Oversee the due diligence process

•            Coordinate other advisers due the process

•            Proactively support other team members at all times

•            Contribute to the firm’s thought leadership initiatives

Experience and qualifications:

The individual must have an ACA (or equivalent) qualification with post-qualified experience in corporate finance and be competent in relevant financial modelling and analysis techniques.

An understanding and passion for brands, communication and technology is essential. A background in corporate advisory in these sectors is essential. This experience may have been gained as an adviser or as a principal.

As this role involves winning client business, running teams and developing more junior staff the individual must have both outstanding people and project management skills, together a pro-active and highly positive attitude to teamwork.
