M&A Senior Analyst/Associate, Global Investment Bank
Our Client:
Is a leading Global Investment Bank. They have an extremely successful MA investment banking team covering the German speaking markets for MA transactions. They are looking for an exceptional Associate/Senior Analyst with first class MA investment banking experience, preferably with training from a leading Tier 1 or independent investment bank, and a track record of MA transactions (completed or otherwise).
Core Responsibilities:
-Building and using complex financial models, completing valuation and analytical exercises
-Preparing and participating in deal pitches
-Preparing marketing materials for MA related transactions
-Executing end-to-end client transactions
Job Summary:
Roles within the business are balanced between winning new business and the execution of investment banking projects. The role of an Associate would principally consist of supporting marketing initiatives and the execution of projects, and completing complex valuation and analytical exercises. The firm offers excellent development prospects for your investment banking career, with exposure to the senior MA professionals who specialise in specific sectors.
Your experience should bring:
-FLUENT German and English
-Excellent analytical and technical skills
-Solid corporate finance knowledge
-Very strong attention to detail
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines
-Initiative to take responsibility for a task and complete it
-Strong teamwork skills
-Demonstrable experience within Investment Banking (MA, industry teams)
-Strong academic background
-No specific sector coverage within MA is required
