M&A Third Year Analyst for a Leading Bulge Bracket Bank recruitment
Our client is looking for a highly analytical third year analyst, who will be able to perform independent technical analysis, provide unique insights and tactical advice when performing MA execution work as well as assist in the origination of deals. In return they will be given high levels of responsibility at an early stage in their career, in order for them to attain the skills to develop into exceptional associates in the future.
Main Function
• Perform valuation analyses
• Build company operating models
• Gather and understand industry and sector research
• Assist in the preparation of offering memoranda, proposals, and other written materials (whether marketing or deal related)
• Assist in day to day project management
• Build merger models
• Contribute to technical MA analysis as required by coverage teams
• Understanding of public company takeover processes
Person Requirements
• Minimum 2 years experience within an investment banking team of a leading bank
• Highly analytical and methodical
• Able to work in a high pressure environment both to short and long term deadlines
• Solid team player
• Excellent attention to detail
• Mature and confident
• Strong projective management skills
• Initiative
• Excellent written communication skills
