We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced 2nd Line Desktop Mac Support Professional to work on one of our prestigious clients’ sites, located in the City of London. Our client is an internationally renowned luxury fashion house with a fast-moving, creative, and dynamic environment.

 

The successful candidate will provide a high level of technical support, responding to queries on Mac hardware, operating systems, software and mobile devices. You will also possess a strong knowledge of Windows, working with local customers to solve their technical issues both remotely, and in person.

We are looking for someone to START IMMEDIATELY on a permanent contract.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·        Provide 2nd Line support services to their end users primarily in the Mac environment (75%) and Windows (25%).

·       Work to SLAs and prioritise workload to meet contractual needs.

·       Update incident management system with all incidents and calls logged.

·       Provide Executive and VIP support for Apple products on an ad-hoc basis

·       Remote management and deployment of client software packages

·       Manage multiple work streams in parallel in an effective and proactive manner.

·       Work to specified standards and required levels of deportment, conduct and sound ethical workplace practices.

Technical skills required:

·       Sound understanding of Windows XP/7 and MAC OSX 10.7 as well as building, configuring and troubleshooting Macintosh and PC hardware components.

·        Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (CS3-CS5) and MS Office software.

·         Basic knowledge of TCP/IP and networking Outlook, Active Directory.

·         Experience in setting up Apple devices in a corporate setting (iPhone / iPad / iPod)

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

Experience Qualifications:

·         3+ years in a Technical Support role, preferably face to face and telephone within a corporate IT support team.

·         3+ years with Apple products / devices (preferably MCP, ACSP (Apple Certified Support Professional or MAC Genius certified).

·         Working Knowledge of Windows 7.

·         Solid experience of SLAs and incident management systems, with ITIL methodology (preferred)
