Machine Engineer Job in Chickamauga, Georgia US
Working with and very prominent tier one automotive supplier that is in need of a new machine engineer with the following capabilities and abilities:
- Oversees engineering efforts to ensure that the company produces a quality product, on time delivery to internal and external customer.
- Adheres to company policies and procedures.
- Ensures equipment training is completed where needed.
- Ensures equipment tools are operational and in good repair.
- Responsible for ordering parts and accuracy of record keeping.
- Implement improvements through process, engineering, flow or equipment.
- Communicates with associates through point cards, work instructions, etc.
- Promotes a safety first attitude and provides safe work environment for his/her
- Department
- Oversees new model activity ( Fixturing / equipment design etc.) Supports BP Targets and monitors measurable ( OR/ PR/QR)
- Responsible for generating and presenting monthly performance reports for their department
- When accomplishing the above tasks, remember to work toward meeting overall company goals established to include, safety, quality, production to plan, and delivery performance.
Must be able to maintain, repair and suggest preventative maintenance for CNC and other metal related manufacturing equipment.
