Machine Operator Job in Toccoa 30577, Georgia US
Eaton Corporation, located in Eastanollee, Georgia has an opening for a Machine Operator.
The applicant selected to fill the position will be responsible for the set-up, production, and inspection of all jobs assigned. This role is primarily responsible for setting up and operating various mechanical presses. Jobs assigned may also include spot welding, CNC operator, assembly and others. Must follow all plant and team safety guidelines to produce parts that will meet or exceed Eaton and customer specifications.
Critical to the success of this position is the ability to:
- Read and understand blueprints, quality and/or engineering standards
- Use basic measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
- Receive and maintain operator self inspection stamp to meet quality expectations of Eaton and customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with MRP systems and intermediate computer skills
- Quality inspection experience
- Experience running mechanical presses
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year manufacturing experience
- Ability to work flexible hours including 1st and/or 2nd shift as well as weekends
