Machine Operator Needed ASAP!
Randstad is currently looking for a Machine Operator for a Manufacturing Company located in Quakertown, PA. Job Description:
*Reports to Production Lead and Shift Supervisor
*Operates production machinery. Able to perform physical, mechanical, and program adjustments as necessary.
*Performs startup, assembly/disassembly, changeovers, and shutdown of machinery and production line equipment.
*Accurately completes paperwork related to production schedule, inventory, HACCP plan, and/or quality standards.
*Manually shovels, lifts, and/or transports unfinished product during production process.
*Able to perform light troubleshooting of machine breakdowns.
*Notifies supervisor and/or maintenance when breakdowns occur.
*Removes waste from plant to dumpsters.
*Follows all relevant SOPs and corrective action procedures. Notifies supervisor of process deviations.
*Cleans and sanitizes machine parts, equipment, and other areas.
*Other duties as assigned.
*Assures food safety standards with regards to GMPs and HACCP plan are being followed by self and fellow employees.
*Communicate with operators from other shifts.
*Maintains a professional, courteous manner with all visitors, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees.
*Follows established company policies and those outlined in the Employee Handbook.
Working hours: 6:00AM-4:30pm
*At least two years of experience working as a Machine Operator in a Manufacturing Environment.
*Knowledge of Chub Machine (Katridge Pak), Mondini, and Toyo preferred
*Some college preferred
*Able to read, write, and understand English.
*Has reliable transportation
*Passes drug screening test and criminal background check
*Solid work history
