* Utilize ISO compliant documentation and/or processes to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations and setup requirements.
* Selects, aligns, and secures specified holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, grinders, sanders, drill presses, CNC lathes, CNC mills, computerized engraving machines, and riveting machines.
* Calculates and sets controls to regulate specified machining factors such as speed, feed, and depth and angle of cut, or enters commands to retrieve, input or edit computerized machine control media.
* Starts and observes machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls or media as required.
* Verifies conformance of finished first article work piece to specifications and conducts subsequent inspection of workpiece in Statistical Process Control (SPC) inspection system.
* Confers with lead person, machine shop supervisor or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.
* Fits and assembles parts into complete assembly.
* Verifies dimension and alignment of assembly.
* Use appropriate equipment and tools to perform job functions safely.
* Suggest and implement process/productivity improvements.
* Perform all MES transaction associated with product flow in the department.
* Comply with all Carbon Products EHS policies and procedures, including personal protective equipment use, housekeeping standards, and EHS training requirements.
* Handling of hazardous materials.

* H.S. diploma or GED is required
* 5 years minimum related experience
* Proficient in CNC and manual equipment set-up and operation.
* Experience measuring with precision instruments.
* Competent verbal and written communication skills.
* Machine technology and CNC Programming certificates are a plus.
