Client in Mentor, Ohio is currently hiring experienced Lathe Operators and CNC Lathe Operators. This position is a non-smoking facility and client will tobacco test. Hours for this position are 2nd and 3rd shift with first shift weekend work required as needed. The right candidate will need flexibility to work varying shifts. Responsibilities will include: +Plan, program, set-up, and operate computer controlled machines +Develop machining techniques and processes to repair turbine engine components to specifications. +Develop tooling to perform or improve performance in other process areas such as bench, inspection, coating applications, etc. +Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts. This position requires communication with engineers, training coordinator, and other machinists to improve skill sets. +Follow parts handling requirements. Knowledge and Skills: +Previous manufacturing experience +High School diploma or equivalent +Experience in lathe machinery and holding tighter tolerances Our client, an international provider of component repairs servicing the aerospace industry, is a smoke-free plant.
