The role:
To help the macroeconomic research function in order to support decisions in respect to ESM's functioning. To specifically research the economic and financial performance of a country that is in a financial assistance programme
Your responsibilities:
To build analytical models and insights in the macroeconomic performance of various countries from the euro zone
To monitor the global macroeconomic environment more broadly
To produce analytical reports that help the organisation to fulfill its functions, including but not limited to:
o The identification of the strengths and weaknesses of economic systems of euro zone countries
o The identification of a set of factors and research tools that will allow to assess the impact of events and measurements onto the economic aggregates of the euro zone countries
o To forecast the drivers of the various euro zone economies
Your background and Experience
Masters Degree, preferably in economics or finance
CFA (part or fully qualified)
Experience in economic research
