MAF DMO Subject Matter Expert Job in Scott Afb, Illinois Us

Northrop Grumman is seeking a current Reserve/ANG or retired Air Force pilot with mobility program experience for a position as a Subject Matter Expert for a fast-paced, growing, dynamic program supporting the MAF DMO Program at the Scott AFB Distributed Training Center. MAF DMO Team SMEs apply their operational knowledge of Air Force doctrine, aircraft capabilities and tactics to prepare realistic air crew training scenarios for MAF DMO exercise events. They collaborate with MAF Aircrew Training Device providers and our customers to determine exercise requirements that will enable the site controller staffs to meet the MAF DMO Program vision to have warfighters train as they fight. Once requirements are determined, the SME will be responsible for preparing and submitting CONOPS to guide technical solutions development, Event Control/Management requirements, and training scenarios for approval by the customer, observe execution of the scenarios in selected exercises, attend debriefings, and roll appropriate lessons learned into subsequent scenarios to improve future training events. Frequent travel is required to Orlando, FL and designated MAF DMO Aircrew Training Device locations.
