Job Summary:
The Principal Maintenance Employee position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the work environment. This position functions in an armed environment. This position requires the enforcement of rules to protect the premises and property of Brink's and its customers, as well as the safety of persons on the premises of Brink's and its customers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and maintain offices and restrooms; sweep, mop, or vacuum floors; empty/clean wastebaskets
• Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools; buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, high pressure washers, high speed buffers and vacuums, brooms, mops, and squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture
• Perform basic maintenance functions, including replacing light bulbs and air filters, caulking, lock repair, and other duties using hand tools
• Move furniture, equipment, supplies and tools on an incidental basis

Position Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Minimum 4 years of janitorial experience in a light industrial atmosphere
• Minimum 1 year of experience using industrial scrubbers and buffers
• Able to work weekends, holidays and/or extended hours
• A valid firearms permit or be able to pass applicable firearms licensing requirements
• A valid guard card or ability to obtain a guard card or any other required licenses
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds
