Maintenance Director
Job Description
Celebrate Caring at Bennett Hills Care and Rehabilitation Center, a SunBridge Healthcare affiliate. We're seeking a full time Maintenance Director at our 80-bed center, located in Gooding, ID.
Our ideal candidate will be have competence in maintenance and supervision with knowledge of OSHA and Life Safety Codes and basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
In this position you will be responsible for organizing, directing, performing and supervising the facility maintenance program. This includes, maintaining and repairing building, equipment, machinery and grounds on a continual basis. Establish and maintain an ongoing preventative maintenance schedule.
Job Requirements:
* Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
* Demonstration of mechanical aptitude: completion of trade school, mechanical apprenticeship, trade license, industrial mechanical work experience.
* Five years experience in health care environmental services preferred.
* Certification with HVAC and/or CFC preferred.
* Valid state driver's license when applicable.
* Ability to read blue prints, wiring schematics, etc.
* Ability to understand, control and track direct spending and labor budgets.
* Ability to maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc.
* Ability to understand and monitor applicable regulations, policies and procedures.
* Ability to respect residents including those who have impaired cognition.
* Sufficient verbal and written communication skills to perform the tasks required.
