A superb opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join the UK's largest manufacturer of natural healthcare products.

If you have experience of FMCG packaging machinery gained within the pharmaceutical industry and a good understanding of preventative maintenance, don't miss out on this opportunity to join an established company that is keen to promote from within.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining all equipment, control systems and other facilities of the plant, ensuring all production lines at the manufacturing site run reliably and efficiently. You will also partake in company projects.

Your other duties will include:

- Carrying out requirements of the planned preventative maintenance programme
- Performing day-to-day fault finding, diagnosis and breakdown repairs
- Assisting with machine changeovers, training technicians as necessary

To be considered for this role, you must have:

- Experience of FMCG packaging machinery within a pharmaceutical type industry
- Experience with liquid fillers, cartonning systems, labeling, tube filling and vision systems
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance programmes

Professional and self-motivated, as a Maintenance Engineer, you'll have the ability to work on your own initiative and be confident when dealing with people at all levels. Good fault finding skills and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines are also key.

Whilst not essential, the ideal candidate will have an HNC or HND in electrical engineering and have previous apprenticeship experience. Mechanical and electrical experience would be a clear advantage.
