Maintenance Engineer Job in Sheffield S12EB, Yorkshire UK
GI Group are looking for an experienced maintenance engineer who is also qualified to 17th Edition.
The ideal candidate will come from a medium to heavy background with experience gained from the metal industry. Need to be familiar with power presses their maintenance although other backgrounds will be considered.
General tasks :
Making scheduled checks on machinery parts PPM.
Fault finding repairs.
Oiling cleaning machinery parts.
Overhauling replacing parts according to schedule.
Continuous improvement.
Ideally the candidate should have the following :
Good practical technical skills.
Good understanding of IT (not essential).
An ubnderstanding of engineering drawings priciples.
Good problem solving skills.
An awareness of health safety legislation.
A mechanical aptitude.
Experience of PLC systems (Siemens S7 preferred).
