Position Title: Maintenance Manager
Department: Maintenance
Reports to: General Manager
Summary:
Responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and executing the maintenance process and support systems ensuring that the safety, quality, and productivity objectives of the business are being met. Manages total facility repairs and grounds upkeep.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Direct and coordinate the maintenance and repair activities for all process related machinery and support equipment.
· Develop and maintain maintenance systems to support continuous improvement
· implement process metrics/measures to gauge maintenance effectiveness, and use measures to drive equipment related improvements.
· Safety – establish a culture where all associates, practices, and systems are directed towards the pursuit of zero injuries, zero health risk, and zero environmental impact.
· Utilize the Preventative and Corrective Maintenance program to meet all safety and cOMP policies.
· Provide training and documentation to sustain continuous improvement
· Interact with the local fire department, insurance carriers, and other agencies to ensure compliance of federal, state, and local regulations.
· Develop, improve, and enhance equipment, methods, processes, and materials to produce products with the lowest cost.
· Insure vendor and contractor compliance with Safety and cGMP policies and procedures.
· Consult and coordinate activities with Corporate Engineering when necessary.
· Prepare the annual Maintenance budget
· Other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
· College degree with a minimum of 10 years in Maintenance Management.
· Experience with preventative maintenance systems, CMMS software, and project management.
· A working knowledge of cGMPs and OSHA regulations.
· Ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task in a high paced working environment.
· Ability to read blue prints and engineering drawings.
· Strong leadership, verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
