Maintenance Manager Job in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories Canada

With an international presence in Mining and a growing reputation within Canada, this successful mining company is looking for a Maintenance Manager to reside in Yellowknife, NT.  This crucial role is responsible for meeting business objective related to all maintenance and site services program.

 

Technical Requirements

 

·         A minimum of 10yrs mining experience, 5 years within Maintenance Management

·         Professional Engineer with eligibility for registration in the NWT

·         Knowledge of process facilities, underground mine operations and diesel power generation

·         Experience with CMMS programs and exposure to SAP (PM, SC, FI/CO)

·         Proven background in implementing and developing improvement programs across multiple operations.

Key Responsibilities

 

·         Preparing and implementing short, medium and long term maintenance and operation plans

·         Developing and implementing technical standards, specifications and quality assurance systems to improve maintenance processes

·         Integrating and coordinating all aspects of operational and shutdown maintenance projects in accordance with project requirements.

·         Developing and sustaining an asset management strategy in line with Corporate standards

·         Providing management and leadership for the successful implementation of the integral reliability-focused maintenance management system

·         Coordinate, prepare and submit work costs and capital budgets and review on a monthly basis.
