Housing Authority City of Orange POSITION TITLE: Maintenance Mechanic B DEPARTMENT: Maintenance SALARY: $11.24 per hour DATE POSTED: March 21, 2012 CLOSING DATE: April 4, 2012 The Housing Authority City of Orange is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Maintenance Mechanic B. This position performs any of the wide ranging tasks associated with all various crafts dealing with the functions and duties of maintenance for two hundred forty (240) public housing units. Applicants must possess the ability to understand the working equipment and systems encountered on the job. Knowledge of tools and equipment routinely required to perform the work of the position. Ability to perform maintenance and repairs related to the position, and the ability to work well with others. High School Graduate or successful completion of GED. Four (4) years practical work experience. One (1) year of related job experience may be substituted for formal training.
