Maintenance Mechanic Job in Hazelwood, Missouri US

Responsible for the quality and functionality of all plant machinery/equipment except for the blow molders. Makes adjustments, troubleshoots and performs preventative maintenance to plant machinery/equipment.

 

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

1.      To observe all safety rules/regulations and perform duties in a safe and efficient manner.

2.      Reviews and follows weekly and bi-weekly maintenance checklists/logs for all plant machinery/equipment.

3.      Maintains condition of machinery/equipment (electro-heat, grinders, compressors, chillers, dryers…) to allow for optimal usage.

4.      Discusses machinery/equipment issues with Mechanics and/or Plant Manager.

5.      Maintain accurate log of work performed on all machinery/equipment.

6.      Performs regular maintenance in various areas within the plant.

7.      Assists is resolving production problems.

8.      Fills out NCR’s as necessary.

 

SECONDARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

1.      Perform other duties as assigned.

2.      Serves as a back-up for the Set-Up Mechanic

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

1.      Knowledge of electronics and PLC’s.

2.      Knowledge of electrical processes and procedures.

3.      Possess a high level of attention-to-detail and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. 

4.      Be willing to work various shifts, hours, and overtime as required.

5.      Ability to speak and understand English.
