MAINTENANCE MECHANIC 4 The Facilities and Transportation Dept of Oak Ridge Associated Universities is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic 4 to provide an array of building equipment operation and maintenance services for the ORAU / ORISE buildings. Periodically, provide off-hours / emergency call-out services. QUALIFICATIONS: HS diploma or equivalent with min of 5 yr exp in selecting, installing, maintaining, and repairing building electrical equipment and components up to 480V - motors, switchgear, panels, circuit breakers, conduit, wiring, switches, and other electrical components. Must have thorough knowledge of NFPA 70, National Electrical Code. Knowledge of institutional building mechanical and utility systems and their maintenance - plumbing and fixtures, data and telecommunications cabling, etc. Knowledge of how to safely work on building HVAC and electrical systems and to perform general building maintenance activities in a safe manner. A current electrician's license req'd. Must obtain within 3 mos of hire a City of Oak Ridge electrician's license.
