Job Title: Production Line Maintenance Mechanic:
Department: Manufacturing Operations
The Production Line Maintenance Mechanic will be performing preventative maintenance, machine repair and operations, changeovers, and housekeeping in a fast-paced liquid filling and manufacturing facility.
Job Duties and Required Skills
• Set up and maintenance of liquid fillers, cappers, and labelers in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Thorough knowledge of electrical and pneumatic equipment, conveyor systems, AC/DC motors, programmable logic controllers, variable-frequency drives, and other industrial equipment.
• Proficient in electrical service, maintenance and installation (high voltage panels, installation, variable frequency drives, motor testing, and other electrical troubleshooting).
• Knowledge and experience in pneumatics, air solenoids, switches, and valves.
• Required to work with Operations Manager and line workers to achieve production targets.
• Must have the ability to work flexible hours or weekends as needed.
• Must be physically able to handle long periods of physical activity (e.g. standing for extended periods, bending, kneeling, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds).
