Position Summary:
CVS is the largest retail drug store chain and a leader in the industry with over 7,200 stores and $80 billion in sales. We are currently seeking 2nd 3rd shift Maintenance Mechanics.
The general responsibilities of the Maintenance Mechanic include the maintenance and repair of the the facility, the grounds and all electrical, mechanical and MHE systems and equipment within the distribution center.
Job Description:
We are looking for individuals with at least 3-5 years or prior experience in electromechanical/general maintenance. Must have demonstrated proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic systems as well as hydraulic systems. Must have a working knowledge of variable speed motor controllers and Allen Bradley PLC/SLC control systems, AC/DC arc welding and gas welding/cutting. Strong communication skills, written and verbal, the ability to work overtime and the ability to work well with others as a team are also required.

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years in the maintenance field.
- Expertise in use of basic and sophisticated hand tools.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic systems with the ability to diagnose and repair.
- Ability to read and comprehend electrical/hydraulic schematics and blueprints.
- Ability to climb and work at heights up to 40 feet.
- Experience in computerized logic control and diagnostics repair is a plus.
- Ability to operate and be certified to operate all equipment within the facility.
- Ability to alter works schedule on short notice to satisfy needs of the dept. and operation.
